Where to Buy New Appliances in Bath
Looking for a new washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer, or washer dryer in Bath? Bath Washco is a local, online-based appliance supplier and repair specialist. We supply and fit new appliances across Bath, Keynsham, Bradford on Avon, Trowbridge, Chippenham, Melksham, Radstock, and the surrounding areas of Wiltshire and Somerset.
Because we repair these machines every day, we only sell the brands we know to be reliable – including Bosch, Neff, and AEG, alongside a select range of budget-friendly options. Whether you need a freestanding washing machine, a fully integrated dishwasher, a quiet heat pump tumble dryer, or a space-saving washer dryer, we can help you choose the right model and fit it properly in your home.
We hold stock at our unit in Trowbridge, which means we can often supply quickly across the local area. You can buy through our online shop, or in person on the day when we visit – and there's nothing to pay upfront, as we don't take payment until your appliance has been delivered and installed.
Every appliance comes with free local delivery and the option to have your old machine removed and recycled. We're a Which? Trusted Trader with over 30 years' experience, rated 4.9 out of 5 from more than 200 Which? reviews.
Local Appliance Shop vs the National Retailers
The real cost of a new appliance is what you pay once delivery, installation, and old-appliance recycling are added on. Those extras are frequently charged separately by the big online stores – and they add up.
Buying from a local appliance specialist like Bath Washco means those costs are handled properly and locally. You get honest advice from people who repair these machines every day, free local delivery, plus professional installation and old-appliance recycling at a fair price – often better value overall than a national retailer once everything is added together.
You also get genuine local aftercare. If you have any questions post installation, you're dealing with an established local business, not a call centre. See our full cost breakdown on the why buy local page.
New Appliances in Bath – Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I buy a new washing machine in Bath?
Bath Washco supplies new washing machines, dishwashers, tumble dryers, and washer dryers in Bath, with free local delivery and installation across Bath, Wiltshire, and Somerset. You can browse and buy through our online shop, with nothing to pay until your appliance is delivered and installed.
Do you deliver and install appliances in Bath and Wiltshire?
Yes. We deliver new appliances free across Bath, Keynsham, Bradford on Avon, Trowbridge, Chippenham, Melksham, Radstock, and surrounding areas. We install your new appliance ourselves and can take your old one away for recycling.
Is it cheaper to buy appliances locally or from a national retailer?
National retailers often show a lower headline price, but once delivery, installation, and old-appliance recycling are added, buying locally is frequently better value overall. As a local business we handle all of that properly, and you get honest advice and local aftercare too.
What appliance brands do you sell?
We sell trusted brands including Bosch, Neff, and AEG, along with a select range of budget-friendly models. Because we repair appliances every day, we only stock brands we know to be reliable. If you need a specific model we don't have listed, we can usually order it in quickly.
Do you sell integrated appliances?
Yes – freestanding, semi-integrated, and fully integrated. Getting an integrated appliance right is about matching the model to your cabinet space so it fits and runs correctly. With integrated dishwashers in particular, there's a choice between fixed-door (sliding hinge) and vario-hinge fittings depending on your cabinet – and we'll recommend the right one for your kitchen.
How do I buy, and do I pay anything upfront?
You can buy directly through our online shop, or in person on the day when we visit – for example, if we find your old appliance is beyond economical repair during a call-out. Either way, there's nothing to pay upfront: we don't take payment until your new appliance has been delivered and installed and you're happy with it. Got a question first? Call us on 01225 429127.
What if my old appliance is beyond economical repair?
We're a repair business first, so you'll always get an honest assessment. If your appliance isn't worth repairing, we'll tell you straight – and if you choose a new appliance from us, we'll deduct 50% of the service visit fee from the cost. Honest advice, and money off a replacement.
Can you take away and recycle my old appliance?
Yes. When we deliver your new appliance, we can remove your old one and recycle it responsibly, so you don't have to arrange disposal yourself.
