Midea MDWPB1303L 13 Place Built-In Dishwasher – Effortless Kitchen Cleaning

Simplify your kitchen routine with the Midea MDWPB1303L 13 place built-in dishwasher, expertly designed to deliver thorough cleaning performance whilst seamlessly integrating into your modern kitchen. This D-rated energy efficient dishwasher combines generous capacity with quiet operation and multiple wash programmes, making it the perfect choice for busy households that value both performance and convenience.

Generous 13 Place Setting Capacity

The spacious 13 place setting capacity makes the MDWPB1303L ideal for larger families and those who enjoy entertaining. Comfortably accommodate a full dinner service including plates, bowls, glasses, cups, and cutlery in a single wash cycle. The intelligent interior layout maximises every inch of space, whilst the dedicated cutlery tray provides superior cleaning for knives, forks, and spoons whilst freeing up valuable room in the lower basket for larger items.

This generous capacity means fewer wash cycles per week, saving you valuable time and allowing you to spend more moments with family and friends rather than standing at the sink. Whether you’re cleaning up after a busy weeknight dinner or hosting a weekend gathering, the MDWPB1303L handles it all with ease.

Versatile 8 Wash Programmes

With 8 carefully designed wash programmes, this Midea dishwasher caters to every cleaning need. The Intensive programme tackles heavily soiled pots and pans with stubborn baked-on food, whilst the Eco programme provides energy-efficient cleaning for everyday loads. The Delicate cycle gently cares for your finest glassware and china, protecting precious items from damage.

The 30-minute Quick Wash programme delivers impressive results when you’re short on time, perfect for lightly soiled dishes or when you need clean plates in a hurry. Additional programmes ensure optimal cleaning for mixed loads, ensuring every item receives the appropriate care and attention it deserves.

Whisper-Quiet 46dB Operation

Operating at just 46 decibels, the MDWPB1303L is one of the quieter dishwashers available, comparable to the sound of light rainfall or a quiet library. This exceptionally low noise level means you can run wash cycles any time of day or night without disturbing conversations, television viewing, or sleep. Perfect for open-plan living spaces or kitchens adjacent to bedrooms, this dishwasher works discreetly in the background.

The advanced sound insulation and precision-engineered components ensure peaceful operation throughout every wash cycle, from the initial rinse through to the final dry. You’ll barely notice it’s running, yet you’ll certainly appreciate the sparkling clean results.

Energy and Water Efficient Performance

With a D energy rating, the MDWPB1303L delivers reliable cleaning performance whilst maintaining reasonable running costs. Annual energy consumption of 220kWh helps keep utility bills manageable, whilst the estimated 2,660 litres of water consumption per year demonstrates efficient resource usage. This dishwasher proves you don’t need to compromise between cleaning power and environmental consideration.

The intelligent water management system adjusts consumption based on the selected programme and load size, ensuring you never waste resources. By choosing a dishwasher over hand washing, you’ll typically use significantly less water – research shows dishwashers can use as little as 9 litres per cycle compared to 49 litres for washing the same load by hand.

Convenient Time-Saving Features

The Delay Start function allows you to schedule wash cycles up to 24 hours in advance, perfect for taking advantage of off-peak energy tariffs or ensuring dishes are clean and ready when you return home. Simply load the dishwasher, set the delay timer, and let the machine do the work while you’re away or sleeping.

The Half Load option provides flexibility for smaller loads, adjusting water and energy consumption when the dishwasher isn’t completely full. This intelligent feature prevents waste whilst ensuring you always have clean dishes available, even when you don’t have enough for a full load.

Golden Hygiene Certificate

The MDWPB1303L carries the Golden Hygiene Certificate, confirming its ability to deliver sanitised cleaning that eliminates bacteria and ensures food-safe results. This certification provides peace of mind, particularly important for families with young children, elderly relatives, or anyone with compromised immune systems. High-temperature wash cycles effectively remove harmful microorganisms whilst leaving your dishes sparkling clean and safe to use.

Safety and Child Protection

The integrated Child Lock feature prevents curious little hands from interrupting wash cycles or changing settings, providing essential safety in family households. Once activated, the control panel becomes unresponsive to button presses, ensuring your selected programme runs to completion without interference. This thoughtful feature offers peace of mind whilst protecting both your dishwasher and your children.

Seamless Built-In Integration

Designed for fully integrated installation, the MDWPB1303L disappears completely behind your kitchen cabinet doors, creating a streamlined, cohesive look. The standard 60cm width fits seamlessly into most kitchen designs, whilst the compact 815mm height and 550mm depth ensure compatibility with standard cabinet configurations.

The unit’s precise dimensions allow for straightforward installation, whether you’re renovating an existing kitchen or fitting out a new build. Professional installation ensures optimal performance and longevity, whilst the integrated design maintains your kitchen’s aesthetic integrity.

User-Friendly Design Features

The thoughtfully designed interior includes adjustable racks that accommodate various dish sizes and shapes. Fold-down tines provide flexibility for loading large plates or serving dishes, whilst the upper basket can be adjusted to different heights, creating space for tall items in the lower basket when needed.

The cutlery tray maximises washing efficiency by positioning utensils flat, ensuring water reaches every surface for thorough cleaning. This design eliminates the problem of nested cutlery that often occurs in traditional cutlery baskets, where spoons and forks shield each other from the water spray.

Reliable Build Quality

Manufactured by Midea, a globally recognised appliance brand operating in over 195 countries since 1968, the MDWPB1303L benefits from decades of engineering expertise and innovation. The robust construction ensures long-lasting performance, whilst the quality components are designed to withstand the demands of daily use in busy family kitchens.

The 2-year manufacturer warranty (subject to online registration) provides additional confidence in your purchase, demonstrating Midea’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Easy Maintenance and Care

Maintaining your MDWPB1303L is straightforward thanks to accessible filters and spray arms. Regular cleaning of these components ensures optimal washing performance and extends the life of your dishwasher. The self-cleaning programme helps maintain internal hygiene by flushing the system and preventing odour build-up.

The machine’s design incorporates quality materials that resist corrosion and wear, ensuring your dishwasher continues to perform reliably year after year. Simple maintenance tasks take just minutes but deliver lasting benefits in terms of cleaning performance and appliance longevity.

Practical Dimensions

Measuring 600mm wide, 815mm high, and 550mm deep, the MDWPB1303L fits standard 60cm cabinet spaces perfectly. These dimensions represent the industry standard for built-in dishwashers, ensuring compatibility with most kitchen designs and making replacement of an existing dishwasher straightforward. Always verify your specific cabinet dimensions before purchase to ensure optimal fit.
