Maintenance Tips
Why Does My Washing Machine Smell?
A musty, damp, or drain-like smell coming from your washing machine is one of the most common complaints we hear. The smell often transfers to freshly washed clothes, which defeats the whole point of washing them. The good news is that in most cases it's preventable, and with the right routine you can clear it and keep it away.
Mouldy Washing Machine Door Seals
Black mould on the rubber door seal is one of the most common problems we see on front-loading washing machines. It builds up in the folds of the seal, causes a musty smell, and can transfer onto your clothes. Once it's established, it's notoriously difficult to remove.
Condenser Tumble Dryer Not Drying Properly
This is one of the most common tumble dryer problems we see. Unlike a complete breakdown where the dryer won't start or stops mid-cycle, poor drying performance develops gradually over time as components become blocked or wear out.
AEG Dishwasher Not Heating
When your AEG dishwasher isn't heating water, every wash cycle runs cold. Dishes come out with grease still on them, glasses stay cloudy, and detergent doesn't dissolve properly. The cycle completes normally but cleaning performance is poor because water never reaches the correct temperature.
Hisense Washer Dryer F17 Error Code
The Hisense F17 error code on washer dryer machines indicates a heating fault during the drying cycle. The machine washes normally but when it tries to dry, either the dryer won't heat at all, or the overheat thermostat trips before clothes are dry.
Bosch Washing Machine Not Spinning
F43 and E21 typically appear during the wash or spin cycle when the motor should be running. The machine may attempt to start several times before displaying the error and stopping completely.
Washing Machine Leaking
A washing machine leaking can range from a sudden flood that soaks your kitchen floor to a small, irritating puddle that appears slowly during the wash cycle — sometimes so gradually you only notice the damp patch hours later
Washing Machine Not Draining | Washing Machine Repair
When your washing machine won't drain, you're left with a drum full of water and soaking wet clothes. The machine either stops mid-cycle with water sitting in the drum, or completes the cycle but leaves everything waterlogged.
